A number of roads and crossings are closed in the North due to flooding

A number of roads and crossings are closed in the Northern Division due to flooding.

They include Lalakoro Road, Zailav Crossing and Batiri Road in Seaqaqa and Boubale Crossing, Qawa Road and Bulileka Road in Labasa.

Qelemumu Crossing and Coqeloa Road in Labasa are also closed to all traffic due to flooding.

A heavy rain warning remains in force for the whole of the Fiji Group.

A flash flood warning is also in force for low lying areas of Tavua and Ba.

A flash flood alert remains in force for low lying areas and areas adjacent to small streams and rivers of Vanua Levu and Taveuni, Nadi through to Korovou, low lying areas along Navua, through Naboutini to Namada.

An active trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the Fiji Group.
