A heavy rain warning is in force for Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands, Kadavu, Lau and the Lomaiviti Group.

A heavy rain alert is now in force for the rest of Fiji.

A flash flood warning remains in force for low lying areas and areas adjacent to the Waimanu, Wainimala and Waidina Rivers.

A flash flood alert is also in force for the low lying areas and small streams for the Central and Eastern Divisions.

A flash flood alert is also in force for areas between Navua and Naboutini along the Queens Highway and between Veisari to Lami.

The Nadi Weather Office says that a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the country.

Meanwhile, a number of roads in Naitasiri are closed for all traffic due to flooding.

The Fiji Roads Authority says the Waisomo Crossing, Vatulili Road, Navulokani Road and Savu Road are closed.
