90.9% adults in Fiji have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine while 35.9% are fully vaccinated

Nearly 50% adults in the Western Division are now fully vaccinated

90.9% adults in Fiji have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine while 35.9% are fully vaccinated

533,078 adults in Fiji have now received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 210,503 have received their second doses.

This means that 90.9% of the target population have received at least one dose and 35.9% are now fully vaccinated nationwide.

The Western Division is leading the way as far as vaccination is concerned with 99.9% of adults having already received the first dose and 49.9 percent fully vaccinated.

According to the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 dashboard, 210,244 Fijians have been vaccinated in the Western Division with 105,119 people fully vaccinated.

Fiji’s target population for vaccination is 586,651 adults.
