88 families who have yet to receive food rations were assisted by the govt distribution team yesterday

88 families who have been in isolation for more than 10 to 12 days and were yet to receive food rations packs were assisted by the government distribution team yesterday.

So far, the government has distributed around 18,881 groceries and essential items packs to families in targeted lockdown and home isolation.

The distribution team also delivered 787 household packs yesterday to families in home isolation in the Lami, Suva, Nasinu, Nausori, Sigatoka, Nadi and Lautoka areas.

This includes 511 household packs delivered in the areas of Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori, 118 packs in Sigatoka, 103 packs in Nadi and 55 packs in Lautoka.

The government says so far they have delivered 6,311 packs to families in home isolation in the Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori areas, 326 packs in Sigatoka, 618 packs in the Nadi areas and 912 packs in the areas of Lautoka.
