Attorney General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says 850 more jobs have been created under the Stronger Together Job Support Scheme.

While speaking during of the opening of the new Fiji Revenue and Customs Service Office in Nadi, Sayed-Khaiyum says FRCS is working with the government in regards to this scheme.

The Minister says businesses have been taking advantage of the scheme where the government pays the minimum wage rate of $2.68 and if there is an additional sum to be paid, that will be catered for by the employer.

He has urged businesses to take advantage of this scheme.
