This is according to the Land Transport Authority.
In July last year, there were also 11,993 Public Service Vehicles, 17,879 Commercial vehicles and 1,520 Government vehicles on our roads.
113, 587 vehicles were registered with the LTA in July last year.
Motor vehicle registrations have been growing significantly in Fiji over the last few years with an average growth of 9% from 2015 to 2016.
Statistics by the LTA reveal that new vehicle registrations for 2016 was 15,177 with an average registration of 1,265 vehicles per month.
