Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem

As pre-poll voting for the 2022 general elections starts today, Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem says 77,907 voters are listed to vote at 613 pre-poll venues in different areas between today to Friday.

He says there is an increase in the pre-polling venues compared to the previous years as they have included pre-poll venues for police officers as well.

Saneem says tomorrow, there are 24 venues in the Central Division, 42 in the Western Division, 31 in the Northern Division and 52 venues in the Eastern Division.

Saneem further says as schools will be used for polling venues and exams are in progress, the Fijian Elections team will be using their tents on school grounds to avoid disruptions.

He also says the Fijian Elections team for pre-poll voting has already been deployed while the last team has left for Kadavu at 10pm last night.
