A 7-year-old boy has passed away after a tragic dare gone wrong at sea along Queen Elizabeth Drive in Nasese.
Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says they are also trying to verify the information that another boy who was with the 7-year-old, is still missing at sea.
Conflicting information is coming through that only one boy was in the water, and he is the one that was pronounced dead at CWM Hospital.
Naisoro says they will continue to search as they cannot take any chances if another boy is still missing at sea.
The other boys who were with the 7-year-old on the bamboo raft, claim that they were allegedly being dared to dive into the sea.
