A 7-year-old boy is admitted at the Lautoka Hospital in stable condition after he was allegedly hit by a vehicle driven by a 28-year-old man near Narewa Village, Nadi, around 6pm yesterday.
Police say the incident occurred whilst the victim was running after a ball which went onto the main road.
Police are calling on parents and guardians to please monitor and be vigilant of their children’s whereabouts at all times, and young children should never be allowed to play near busy roads.
