$62.2 million paid to 345,307 Fijians as part of the Inflation Mitigation Assistance

The Ministry of Economy has so far paid a total of $62.2 million to 345,307 Fijians as part of the Government's $180 Inflation Mitigation Assistance.

This includes parents of 233,438 students below Year 13, around 18,483 tertiary students, 86,198 social welfare recipients, 5,737 Aftercare beneficiaries, and 1,451 pensioners.

All pending payments will be paid by October 19.

Applications close at 5pm today.
