A total of six students called Youth Ambassadors for World Tsunami Awareness Day and one teacher from Ratu Kadavulevu High School will be representing Fiji to the World Tsunami Awareness Day in Japan next week.
This will be held in Okinawa, Japan from 7 to 8 November 2017.
Twenty four other Youth Ambassadors and their teachers from Kiribati, Nauru, Tuvalu and Vanuatu will also be attending the summit.
One hundred fifty high school students from island countries around the world, mostly from the Pacific region will participate in the event.
