A 6-month-old boy has passed away after he was trapped in a house fire in Nadonunai, Lami yesterday afternoon.
Police say attempts made by the victim's relatives were unfortunately futile due to the intensity of the fire which also spread to a house next door.
They say a man in his 70s also sustained burns and is admitted at the CWM Hospital.
The cause of the fire is yet to be established as joint investigations with the National Fire Authority continues.
