50 people have been served with Public Health Infringement Notices for various health breaches throughout the week.

Police say 41 notices were issued for failure to wear a mask and nine for social gatherings.

They say 15 notices for failing to wear a mask were issued in the Eastern Division, 18 in the Southern, 6 in the Central and 2 in the Western Division.

9 notices were issued for social gathering with 5 issued in the Western and 4 in the Central Division.

Police are urging people to follow the protocols as officers will be moving around issuing on-the-spot fines for non-compliance.
