The body of a 5 year-old-boy who drowned in Waidra, Baulevu along Rewa River has been recovered.
Divisional Police Commander Eastern Senior Superintendent of Police Joape Cakacaka says the boy was out swimming yesterday afternoon when the incident happened.
Police are calling on all parents to supervise their children at all times.
Police says the Cyclone season is just a week away and the school holidays are following shortly.
They acknowledge the Goneturaga na Vunivalu of Kasavu and the surrounding communities for assisting in the search for the body of the 5 year old.
