The official launch of the RBF Student Diary at Marist Brothers High School today

4750 students in 37 Secondary Schools around the country will receive a Reserve Bank of Fiji Student Diary.

While officiating at the official launch of the RBF Student Diary at Marist Brothers High School, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Education Timoci Bure says that 23,750 year 9 and year 10 students in Secondary Schools around the country have benefitted from this since it began 8 years ago.

Bure stressed that not all students can afford to buy a student diary and this will benefit students immensely in keeping them organized throughout the school year.

He has also acknowledged the Reserve Bank of Fiji for the initiative in promoting financial literacy through the student diary that will soon be distributed to other schools in Fiji.

Bure has also revealed that after today’s launch other schools in Fiji will receive the RBF student diary and this includes, 4 schools in Cakaudrove, 5 in Bua and Macuata, 3 schools in Lautoka, Nadi and Yasawa, 4 in Ba and Tavua, 5 schools in the Ra district and 4 in the Nausori district, 4 schools in Nadroga and Navosa, and 2 in the Navua/Namosi districts adding that only 1 school in Suva will receive the 2018 RBF Student Diary.
