$45,000 prize money pool for 44th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s

The prize money for the winner in the men's competition is $15,000 while the runner up gets $5,000.

The total prize money pool for the 44th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s is $45,000.

48 men’s teams, 8 women’s teams and 12 Under 21 teams are confirmed for the tournament which will be held from the 24th to the 26th of this month at the ANZ Stadium.

The prize money for the winner in the men's competition is $15,000 while the runner up gets $5,000.

$4,000 is the prize money for the winner in the women's competition and the runner up gets $1,500.

$3,000 is the prize money for the Under 21 competition and the runner up gets $1,000.

There are 12 pools in the men's competition.

Defending champion Police Blue is in Pool 10 with Yamacia, Mizuno Babas and Naviavia Gladiators.

Last year's runner up Wardens Gold is in Pool 9 with Maravu, Veiyasana Providers Blue and Manukau Auberge Resort.

The Mizuno Babas is made up of Fiji reps like Jerry Tuwai.

Tickets for the Marist 7s go on sale on the 15th of this month at the Fiji Sports Council.
