A 43-year-old farmer from Bulileka, Labasa was taken into custody by the Labasa Taskforce after being found to be in possession of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
Chief Operations Officer ACP Livai Driu says they received calls and messages through various Fiji Police social media pages that led to the successful arrest.
Police say the substances will be analysed for confirmation.
They thanked the public for providing information and urges them to continue sharing information through Crime Stoppers on 919.
