A 40-year-old man from Rakiraki is the latest road fatality victim after he died following an accident along the King's Highway near Karavi in Ba yesterday.
Police say the man is alleged to have lost control of his vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and land in a ditch.
Police add the accident has seen the road death toll now standing at 46 compared to 68 for the same period last year.
Investigation continues.
