Four new board members were elected today at the Fiji Rugby Union AGM.
Surprisingly the Eastern Unions dominated the new look board with University of the South Pacific Deputy Vice Chancellor Dr Esther Williams as the only female.
After being elected today Dr Williams have already made her intention clear on what she wants to do.
Dr Williams was nominated by the Tailevu Rugby Union.
Meanwhile, Suva Rugby Union Chairman Commander Francis Kean believes the new board members will deliver.
The new board members are former Flying Fijians captain Mosese Taga, school teacher Filimoni Vatuvoka, Daniel Whippy and Carl Cameron.
Napolioni Batimala retains his position as the Finance Director after being unopposed and Carl Cameron is the new Director Legal replacing Joeli Baledrokadroka.
Other members of the board include the President Ratu Isikeli Tasere, two members from the Trustees and a nominee from the Prime Minister.
The board will decide on the new chairman of FRU.
