More than 800 farmers in four districts of Macuata will benefit from the new Wainikoro Government Station in Nadogo.

While opening the station, Minister for Rural and Maritime Development, Inia Seruiratu says this investment promotes equal and inclusive opportunities that bridges the development gap between rural and urban areas.

The station was constructed at a cost of $1.1 million, and will provide services to 19,830 people in the districts of Nadogo, Namuka, Dogotuki and Udu.

He adds this government station is expected to unlock major economic potentials that have been left untapped for decades.
