Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem

3,808 postal voter applications have been received by the Fijian Elections Office so far and one voter has already voted.

Supervisor of Elections, Mohammed Saneem also says under the Electoral Act, the FEO will not publish any voter list online as this is against the law.

He says voter details are private data of an individual or the citizen, it is protected by the right to privacy and it is inappropriate for the FEO to publish such details.

The Supervisor also says that 450 postal ballot papers have been packed and dispatched.

He says voters can also check their voting details by texting their voter card number to 1500.
