319 soldiers will leave for UN peacekeeping duties in the Syrian Golan Heights this week.
RFMF’s Captain Ifereimi Buaserau said 160 soldiers will leave on Friday while another 159 will leave for the Golan Heights on Sunday.
Captain Buaserau sayid they also welcome anyone who wants to send messages of support.
The first batch of 182 left for the Golan Heights last month and has settled in well.
Speaking to our sister station Viti FM, Captain Vili Tuimateyaki said everything is fine and they stay connected to Fiji through the live streaming on fijivillage.com.
Meanwhile, another 116 soldiers are expected to leave for Iraq next week.
