A 3-year-old boy died in a car accident along Sukanaivalu Road in Lautoka last night.
The boy was crossing the road with his mother when he was allegedly hit by a van driven by a 45-year-old man.
Police say the driver allegedly failed to stop the car following the accident.
The man was pursued by another car up to the Lautoka Police Station where he surrendered himself to Police.
Investigations continue.
The road death toll currently stands at 24 compared to 38 for the same period last year.
