A 3-year-old child is believed to have drowned in the Wailoku River this morning.
Police say the victim was at home with his father when he disappeared from home and he was later found floating in the river by a Police officer from the Wailoku Police Post.
This is the ninth drowning case this month.
The drowning toll currently stands at 31 compared to 25 for the same period last year.
Police investigations continue.
