3-year-old Asinate fights on as family appeals for more blood donors

The family of three-year-old Asinate Waicalanavanua Coriakula is grateful for the support and response from the general public on donating towards her blood drive so far.

Coriakula's mother, Rauca Vani, told fijivillage News that her baby is slowly showing signs of progress and is recovering well.

She is appealing to people with A positive blood type to donate blood, as her daughter remains in the Burns Unit at CWM Hospital in Suva.

Vani is urgently requesting that blood A positive donors can continue to donate this week to ensure her full recovery and give her a new lease of life.

Her doctors and loved ones are calling on members of the public with the same blood type to come forward and help give her a chance of recovery.

Anyone willing to donate can contact her mother on 2742942.
