Three men are currently being questioned at the Rakiraki Police Station for their alleged involvement in an attack against a health official at the Nasau Health Centre last week.
Police Acting Chief Operations ACP Maretino Qiolevu visited the health centre today and officers have been deployed to the scene.
Police say to ensure medical officials who are travelling daily to the centre are able to conduct their work, these officers have been deployed on a 24 hour basis.
The Crime Officer Rakiraki is heading the investigation.
