3 men are in Police custody after they were found with illicit drugs at Tamole Settlement in New Town, Nasinu.

The Fiji Police and Fiji Dog Detector Unit raided the house on Sunday afternoon where a 56-year-old unemployed man and a 23-year-old car wash attendant voluntarily gave up the drugs that were hidden within the home.

Police say the duo gave up 117 sachets of dried leaves wrapped in aluminum foil believed to be marijuana.

They say a 53-year-old casual worker of Newtown Settlement was arrested for possessing illicit drugs after Police and the FDDU, with a search warrant, raided the suspect’s residence.
