Three men and a juvenile of Nanuku settlement, Vatuwaqa charged with the murder of a 37-year-old construction worker on Tuesday have been remanded in custody.
31-year-old Samuela Vakaruru, 21-year-old Semi Finau and Meli Bativia and a juvenile appeared in a special court sitting this morning before Chief Magistrate Usaia Ratuvili.
Chief Magistrate Ratuvili agreed with the Police prosecution that the four men be remanded in custody and are to be produced before him on the 4th of next month, before it is transferred to the High Court.
It is alleged the 37-year-old man was involved in a brawl with some youths after he was caught trying to steal a radio from their house.
The man was taken to the CWM hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
