3 escapees to appear in court today

The three prisoners who escaped from Korovou Prison on Sunday night will be appearing in the Suva court today.

Assistant Commissioner of Police Chief of Operations Rusiate Tudravu confirmed that the three were recaptured on Monday and the fourth remand escapee is still on the run.

He added that the other prisoner that escaped while being escorted to the Legal Aid Commission in the central division is still on the run.

Meanwhile the three recaptured prisoners from the West will be appearing in court soon.
