3 employees of Danam Limited appear in court for allegedly operating a non-essential business

Three employees of Danam (Fiji) Pte Limited in Lautoka who were arrested for allegedly operating a non-essential business have been released on bail by the Lautoka Magistrates court.

The alleged incident occurred on Thursday.

Ranjit Lal, Readul Khan and Lutfor Rahman have been charged with a count each of failure to comply with orders under the public health act.

They have been released on a bail bond of $750 each and have been ordered not to reopen the factory unless authorized by the Ministry of Health.

The case will be called on 19th June.
