3 charged for allegedly setting fire to Police Director Traffics vehicle
Three men of Omkar Road in Narere, have been charged for allegedly setting fire to a private vehicle belonging to the Police Director Traffic, SSP Mahesh Mishra this month.

Regional Prosecuting officer Southern, ASP Toduadua Vakacegu has confirmed that out of the three, two are minivan owners, who were operating their minivans illegally and they have now been seized.

He said one owns seven vans while the other accused owns eight vans, which all were operating from 8 miles.

The third accused is a van driver.

They have been charged with Conspiracy to Commit Felony, Attempted arson and damaging property.

The vehicle has been written off.

They have been remanded in custody and will appear in the Suva High Court this Thursday.
