The State of Victoria in Australia has recorded 278 new coronavirus cases – the lowest daily number of new cases in almost a month.
Sadly, a further eight people died from the virus.
9News reports the figure is the lowest since July 19.
The new figures come a day after the state's deadliest day when 21 people died.
Yesterday, there were 410 new cases recorded in Victoria.
