Fiji Airways Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Andre Viljoen says from an economics point of view 25 percent fuel savings that the Airbus A350 is expected to provide is vital given the price of fuel.
Viljoen says they went through a thorough campaign they evaluated all the different aircrafts that can meet their mission.
Viljoen says they were looking for fuel-saving, economics and passenger comfort.
Viljoen says by far the Airbus A350 championed the cause for them.
He says this is the right aircraft.
