25 FRA staff have resigned and moved overseas – FRA CEO
FRA CEO Kamal Prasad

Around 25 staff of the Fiji Roads Authority have resigned and moved overseas for greener pastures since Kamal Prasad took over the role of FRA Chief Executive Officer in December 2021.

This was highlighted by Prasad when questioned by fijivillage News on how many of the staff have resigned and moved overseas.

He says they are facing challenges in trying to bring back some of the people they have lost because they need people who have skills at FRA.

Prasad believes that wages is one of the main factors that contribute to people resigning and moving overseas.

The CEO says he has been conducting training at their offices where there is a standard course that all staff will have to go through to ensure they have the right skills for the job.
