24 teams to battle for glory in Wairiki 7s

Twenty-four local rugby 7s teams will be battling for glory at the Fiji Bitter Wairiki 7s that will be held from tomorrow until Saturday.Devo Babas will be aiming to defend their title, while local 7s giants Wardens are working to improve their performance after bowing out in the semi-finals during the Lomavata 7s.Other prominent teams that will be playing in the Wairiki 7s include Yalovata 7s champion, Village Boys, Army Green, Yamacia, Naselesele Blues and Pegasus Brothers.Meanwhile, 15 teams have confirmed their places in the U18–U21 category, while six teams have booked their place in the women’s competition.The Wairiki 7s will be held at the Wairiki Ground in Taveuni.
