Evacuation centres

2,381 people are currently staying in 125 evacuation centres around the country.

The National Disaster Management Office says this figure does not include the evacuation centres from the Eastern Division as they are having trouble contacting their team on the ground.

All evacuation centres in the Northern Division are closed and all evacuees have returned to their homes.

Aerial photos from a survey conducted by New Zealand aircraft P3 Orion has revealed the trail of destruction left behind by Tropical Cyclone Harold in Kadavu and Southern Lau.
