22 new families in home isolation receive grocery and essential item packs

22 new families in home isolation in Nakasi, Wainibuku, Nausori, Nadawa, Khalsa Road, Valelevu and Lami received grocery and essential item packs from the government yesterday.

63 grocery and essential item packs were distributed yesterday and this includes 41 families in Kinoya.

The government has also delivered around 187 packs to the lockdown areas in Kinoya to date.

Around 805 packs have been delivered to Fijians in home isolation living in Lami, Suva, Nasinu and Nausori areas.

6, 790 grocery and essential item packs have been distributed to those in targeted lockdown and home isolation.

To date, a total of 36, 290 food ration, grocery and essential item packs have been distributed by the government.

The Ministry of Economy has also received 500 hygiene kits from the United Nations Population Fund for distribution in lockdown areas.

The team distributed 191 packs yesterday to Waila and Muanikoso Housing.
