2026 FIPRA Music Awards rescheduled to September

2026 FIPRA Music Awards rescheduled to September
The 2026 Fiji Performing Rights Association (FIPRA) Music Awards, which were initially scheduled for next Saturday will now take place on Saturday, 5th September 2026.

The FIPRA Board of Directors officially announced the postponement this morning, saying this decision was made in direct response to the current economic climate.

Despite the shift in timing, the Board of Directors remains dedicated to delivering a prestigious ceremony that honours the achievements of Fiji’s songwriters and performers.

The Board says extending their timeline allows them to navigate the present economic pressures without compromising the integrity of the awards.

They say that their priority is to host a high-quality event that provides their artists with the platform and recognition they deserve.

FIPRA extends its gratitude to its members, partners, and the public for their patience and continued support of the Fijian music industry.

They say further details regarding ticket sales and the finalist shortlist will be released in the coming months.
