B.S Charan Road in Luvu settlement in Lautoka is not accessible at the moment as it is flooded.
There are more than 200 households in the area.
Residents say at this stage, floodwaters have not entered any of the homes and they have been working together to dig drains to prevent the floodwaters from reaching their compounds.
There is also flooding in other parts of Lautoka like Queens Highway at Navutu.
