20-year-old Vereti Tavisoro has been remanded in custody for the alleged murder of 77-year-old Jafar Khan in Nadi last week.
Khan's body was found in an apartment in Martintar.
Tavisoro has also been charged with one count each of theft and aggravated robbery.
The matter has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court and has been adjourned to August 17th.
