Medical services of the Valelevu Health Centre have been redirected to the Makoi Health Centre after two patients tested positive for COVID-19 at the Valelevu Health Centre.

The Ministry of Health says services at the Valelevu Health Centre have been temporarily suspended from this afternoon.

The temporary closure of the Valelevu Health Centre is to allow for the Disinfecting Team to decontaminate the health facility and prepare for the resumption of medical services.

The Makoi Health Centre will remain open tonight into tomorrow morning.
