2 men who allegedly attempted to export 2kg of cocaine are free after drug exhibit goes missing from Namaka Police Station

Former Fiji Airways flight attendant Fredrick Epeli and Justin Ho who were charged with one count each of attempted unlawful exportation of illicit drugs are free men today after the drug exhibit was found to be missing from Namaka Police Station.

This led to Director of Public Prosecutions, Christopher Pryde filing a discontinuance in court.

It was alleged that Epeli and Ho on 23rd December 2018, without lawful authority, attempted to export 2015.7 grams of cocaine to Sydney, Australia.

Meanwhile, Acting Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu has sent a team from the CID Headquarters in Suva to conduct an investigation into the disappearance of cocaine from Namaka Police Station.
