2 men to be produced in court today for allegedly importing 1.1kg of meth

Two of the three men arrested in Raiwaqa on Tuesday for allegedly importing 1.1 kilograms of methamphetamine have been charged and will appear in the Suva Magistrates Court today.

A 37-year-old and a 31-year-old man have been charged with one count of unlawful importation of illicit drugs and one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs each.

The arrest was made following a joint raid with Police and the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service.

The third suspect was questioned and released.
