Two men have been arrested and charged by Totogo Police for their alleged involvement in an aggravated robbery case where $20,000 was stolen in Toorak last month.

Police say it is alleged that the men aged 31 and 24 years had grabbed the box containing the earnings for a shipping service company from a 59-year-old man on the afternoon of the 30th of May 2024, and fled the scene in a car.

Both accused were charged with one count of aggravated robbery and appeared at the Suva Magistrates Court earlier this week.

The two have been remanded, and their case has been transferred to the Suva High Court and will be called on the 1st of July, 2024.
