2 injured at FHL Tower construction site

Two workers have been injured while working at the FHL Tower construction site.

The Fijian Holdings Limited says the incident was reported on Monday and they will not be able to confirm the extent of the injuries.

They say the tower is currently an active construction site under the management of the main contractor.

They say they will work closely with the contractor, and authorities to ensure that the due process is followed.

FHL says as a result of this incident, the opening of the FHL Tower has been postponed.

They say this decision reflects their commitment to prioritizing safety and ensuring the highest standards of care and responsibility.

Minister for Employment, Productivity and Workplace Relations, Agni Deo Singh has yet to respond to our questions.
