The Fiji National Provident Fund is on target to complete processing members’ applications for the Tropical Cyclone Winston assistance by Monday.

As at 1pm today, FNPF had paid out $182.4 million for 140,000 applications.

Approximately 25,000 applications will be processed over the next two days.

FNPF Chief Operating Officer Jaoji Koroi said they are confident that by Monday afternoon, all duly-completed applications would be paid out.

Only queried applications will be processed after Monday, for another two weeks.

Koroi confirmed that FNPF will resume distributing cheques to those members who opted for such payments from Monday 4th April.

He said they have actually processed in five weeks, what they would have normally received and processed in two years.
