18 youths from Sukanaivalu Road in custody following their alleged involvement in an attack on youths and men from Mead Road Housing

Eighteen youths from Sukanaivalu Road in Nabua are in custody following their alleged involvement in an attack on youths and men from Mead Road Housing earlier this afternoon.

Police say it is alleged these youths also threw stones at other men from Mead Road and as a result landed two of them aged 21 and 27 years at the CWM Hospital and are now in stable condition.

Chief Operations Officer, ACP Abdul Khan says more manpower was deployed to the area and the situation is being closely monitored.

This is the second fight this month involving youth and men from Sukanaivalu Road and Mead Road Housing.

The first case is still under investigation.
