18-year-old who allegedly murdered a taxi driver in Sawani to appear before Justice Daniel Goundar next month

18-year-old Noeli Jack Tamani-kaisau who is alleged to have robbed and murdered 60-year-old taxi driver Satya Pillay along Qiolevu Road in Sawani will be produced in the Suva High Court next month.

The case was called today before Judge, Justice Salesi Temo who has issued a production order for Tamani-kaisau. The case will now be called before Justice Daniel Goundar.

Tamani-kaisau was not present in court today as he is currently in remand.

He is charged with one count of murder, one count of robbery and three counts of theft.

The alleged incident happened on the 26th of September along Qiolevu Road.
