An 18-year-old man from Lovoni Settlement has been arrested by the Southern Division Task Force for his alleged involvement in a burglary case.
Police say a report was received from the manager of a supermarket in Tamavua, after she discovered money missing when opening the business.
The matter was reported at the Samabula Police Station, after which the Southern Division Task Force and Crime Operations team were deployed.
Police add that officers arrested the man yesterday afternoon in Lovoni Settlement, where recoveries were also made.
The man remains in custody as investigations continue.
