The 17-year-old, who was arrested in connection with an alleged break-in at a temple on Howell Road in Suva on Monday morning, has been charged and will appear in the Suva Magistrates Court today.
Police say the accused has been charged with one count of sacrilege and one count of theft.
Investigators have also managed to recover more than $900, believed to have been stolen from the temple.
